On June 1st, 2019, GE achieved two new critical certification projects for their Grid Solutions business; the ISO 9001: 2015 Global Quality certification, and the Health and Safety ISO 14001 & OSHAS 18001 certification. This milestone reflects the amalgamation of a previous collection of 70+ standalone ISO 9001:2015 certifications, and 50+ individual ISO 14001 & OSHAS 18001 certifications, all of which are now converged into two respectively-consolidated Global Quality and EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) designations. Both LRQA (Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance)-assigned certifications compliment all legal elements existing throughout GE’s Grid Solutions business.

This Global Standards upgrade ultimately enhances Grid Solutions’ ability to efficiently, reliably, and sustainably meet and exceed the needs and expectations of today’s conscious consumers. By further aligning our processes with the world’s latest emerging environmental, quality, health, and safety requirements for operational, manufacturing, and testing processes, we honor our customers’ values and expectations by embedding them directly into everything we do, and how we do it.
