EU Industry Days 2021
GE will be participating in the upcoming EU Industry Days event taking place from February 23rd to 26th.
EU Industry Days is Europe’s flagship annual event on industry. It serves as the main platform to discuss industrial challenges and co-develop opportunities and policy responses in an inclusive dialogue with a wide range of partners.
It also helps to ensure that EU policies at European, national, regional and local levels work together to enable European industry to deliver jobs, growth and innovation in Europe.
During this virtual event, GE’s experts will be discussing our advanced Green Gas for Grid (g3) – an alternative to SF6, and our future 420 kV SF6 free circuit breaker developed in frame of GE’s LifeGRID Project that is co-founded by the EU’s LIFE Programme .
Meet our g3 Experts
The EU selected GE’s Grid Solutions’ LifeGRID Project to showcase its strategy as part of the EU Industry Days agenda.
The LifeGRID project is about the development of the first SF6-free high voltage circuit breaker for electrical gas-insulated substations at 420 kilovolts (kV), using GE’s g3 gas instead of SF6. The European LIFE programme recognizes the potential of GE’s g3 project to help significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
During this virtual event, GE experts will provide details of the LifeGRID project and GE’s Green Gas for Grid solutions.
