This session will start by describing the requirements of low impedance bus protection and will then build on the previous seminar’s content of how to use the B30 and B90 relay to provide low impedance bus protection for critical buses. The session will cover the key differences between the B30 and B90, how the bus differential algorithm works, how to set the algorithm and will use testing examples to clarify application of the algorithm.
