Beginning with Release 3.0, when upgrading to new major release version (3.0, 4.0, etc) it is

If you have a current version of MDS PulseNET Enterprise, you do not need to download again.
If you decide to download the PulseNET software you must download onto the system you plan to operate PulseNET from. PulseNET Enterprise uses the computer's hardware ID to register the
software's location and licenses request.
Once you have the PulseNET Enterprise Software running on your computer, you will be able to
request your ordered device licenses following these steps:
