A demand response management system (DRMS) is the operational control system used to provide command and control capabilities over a utility’s entire portfolio of demand response programs, locations, and end devices for residential, commercial, and industrial customers. Select elements from GE’s award winning DRBizNet have been re-packaged into DRBizNet Lite  for a low cost, high value, rapidly deployable solution appropriate for simple demand response requirements.

Ideal for rapid deployment, DRBizNet Lite can be ready within 30 days using out-of-the-box features to help utilities reduce peak load, avoid high spot prices and minimize coincident peak load, and balance intermittent wind and solar. Features include: choice of two pre-configured demand response programs, program enrollment, device provisioning and testing, device asset management, capacity forecasting, event creation, customer event notification, device dispatching, tracking customer participation, providing reporting, and acting as the system of record for activities related to demand response for residential, commercial, and industrial customers.

DRBizNet Lite can be hosted or deployed on premise within the utility’s existing IT environment.
